Wedding Planning Guides

There are really good reasons why you need to carefully plan this special celebration. Things can and do go wrong but hopefully because you have planned well any problem or unforeseen contingency that could crop up can be dealt with swiftly. Good planning can certainly alleviate all the stress of worrying about what might go wrong and allow you to enjoy your special day.

I have talked about the necessity of planning your wedding day down to the last detail but of course as you have not been married before the big question is how do you plan well. Particularly when you are unsure what exact steps you would need to take to achieve optimum results. Clearly you need to know what you need to include. Of course some things are blooming obvious, things like the wedding dress, rings, hair, hire of reception hall or hotel, but what about the detail. Well you could hire a professional wedding planner or you could buy one of the many “how to” books available or you could jump onto the internet and Google “online wedding planners”.

There is wedding planning software available which you can adapt for your own use. There is also free software available at some sites. While sourcing these plans for you I found a free wedding guide and planner at http://follow4more.info/?i=129080/

This particular guide includes a detailed form for all those in the wedding party, a wedding checklist for the couple marrying, even a table layout list for your convenience. It comes in pdf form and while not interactive software as such, it is quite useful and maybe that is all you need.

At “The Master Wedding Planning Guide” website I read the following and thought that any bride-to-be could benefit from have any one of the following questions answered, http://follow4more.info/?i=129076/

The writer states that she wrote this guide with you, the bride in mind and that the object of book is to ensure that you get the wedding of your dreams but without the stress!

Sounds good to me - ... “she has designed the Master Wedding Planning Guide to be the easiest to follow system for learning how to plan a wedding available. It is jam-packed with information, including step-by-step EVERYTHING that needs to be planned, booked and organized, the questions that you must ask to make sure that you get what YOU want and avoid getting ripped off, timelines, budgets, over 250 of your questions answered, over 150 cost saving tips covering every aspect of your wedding, seating plans, bride/groom photos and much more...The Master Wedding Planning Guide will also teach you how to plan your wedding like a professional wedding planner, so you can organize everything and be as prepared as you can be, while still having that once in a lifetime wedding you have always dreamed about - this is truly cutting-edge material!”

I don’t know how you feel about all of this but I certainly think that to have this type of information at hand when you are in the process of making all sorts of important decisions is really imperative. But not only does the information help in the planning process you would also be saving the cost of contracting the services of a wedding planner while achieving the same results – the wedding of your dreams!

Again from the same website, Julie White Author of “The Master Wedding Planning Guide” informs us that in her book she has answered the following questions -

“All Your Questions Answered!...

I'm sure there are many specific questions you may have about planning a wedding that you may not have the answers to, such as...

  • How to tell your parents you want to plan your own wedding.
  • Paying for the wedding... who pays for what?
  • What happens to traditions when you have divorced/remarried parents?
  • How much should you tip the wedding minister?
  • How should you word your wedding invitations, service booklets and thank you cards?
  • What to do about cultural differences.
  • How do you ask family members for contributions towards your wedding?
  • What to do about child care during a wedding?
  • What is first dance etiquette?
  • How do you let an unfashionable wedding guest know how to dress?
  • How many wedding gift registries should you have?
  • Which children should you invite to the wedding?
  • How can you include multiple parents/relatives in the wedding ceremony?
  • Which co-workers should you invite to your wedding?
  • Can a girl be the ring bearer? (Yes I've had a few people ask me that one)
  • How to set the ideal date for your wedding.
  • Wedding etiquette for a pregnant bride.
  • Who pays for bridesmaids dresses?
  • Who should you invite to the rehearsal dinner?
  • How to avoid wedding crashers?
  • What to do if you have a wedding date conflict.
  • Suggestions for who pays in a modern world.
  • What to do with challenging guests.
  • What to do if people want to bring dates and you are short on space.
  • How can you invite people to the wedding tactfully if you don't want to invite their children?
  • Who should pay for the rehearsal dinner?
  • What to do about divorced parents who don't get along?
  • Who should walk you down the aisle if you father has passed away?
  • ... And hundreds more of YOUR questions answered...”

If this book can answer the above questions in a helpful way you really are ahead, certainly worth the special asking price of today (8th September 2007) of $37.00
