a) What is a Theme Wedding & b) Why would you want to have one?

It really comes down to the fact that each bridal couple are unique and as such may want their special day be absolutely different to the previous half dozen they have attended or it may be that this same couple have met at a special venue that reflects just who they are and what their passions are – be that mountain climbing, hot air ballooning or deep sea diving. It could even something like a shared interest in vintage cars and an old “tin lizzie” is transformed into the bridal car!
Whatever the motivation a wedding planned to follow a special theme holds promise of a memorable day and much fun for everyone. The theme usually follows one over -riding concept and will carry through to the wedding cake, the flowers, the clothes and food. Even the invitations can request that the guests also follow the suggested theme and be an integral part of the proceedings.
What you as a couple have to bear in mind, is that focus is the key to a successful themed wedding. Whatever you do please do not mix up the themes and end up with a confusion of random ideas.
So if you decide on a “deep sea diving” theme, then don’t go off the proverbial track and inject for example a “carnival” flavour. Stick to the “deep sea diving” plan and follow it through to the end.
So with your chosen theme in mind you can both check out what type of cars fit into the great scheme, the flowers, words, style, reception rooms, even the food can be tailor made to fit your ideas – what fun this could be – so go for it and have fun.....plan a day to remember.
