The Bride and the Groom

The person charged with the planning of the wedding reception or the rehearsal dinner may feel overwhelmed at the responsibility that he or she has been charged with however an important thing for the event planner to understand is that the whole reason for these celebrations are the bride and the groom. So even though a lot of what is going on will feel like it is directly linked to the event planner basically that is only because there is added pressure on the planner to ensure that the whole package goes off smoothly.

Coordinating the Rehearsal Dinner

While the rehearsal is important it is just one aspect of the whole wedding but having said that this dinner should be planned down to the last detail. It is not required that all of the wedding attendants go to the rehearsal dinner for the bride and the groom, but really it would be a good idea if the wedding event planner convinced everyone to attend! Obviously when planning the dinner all details such as the restaurant location, the type of food to be eaten, the length of time needed for the booking indeed how long the dinner should last. Naturally, the bride and the groom will have input as the what, where and why of things but the event planner will need to ensure that the night is enjoyed by all and that indeed the reservations are made for the correct time and that the participants all arrive at the right time.

Successful Wedding Reception

Perhaps the best thing about event planning for a wedding is overseeing the marriage ceremony and wedding reception to ensure that it all happens successfully and without problem! The wedding reception is an important part of this; ensuring that the bride and the groom have agreed upon the venue, the type of food to be served, the type of cake they want, indeed what their budget is, are all very crucial issues! But as stated earlier, In the end it all comes back to the fact that it is Bride and Groom’s Day and that the whole wedding is about them “The Bride and Groom”! So the secret to having a successful wedding is not to forget that fact and then your wedding planning efforts won't go to waste!
